Are you a DIRECT, SYSTEMATIC, SPIRITED OR CONSIDERATE Communicator??? We all bring our unique communications style to our relationships with clients, colleagues, friends and family. Understanding your best communications style allows you to identify specific ways to refine and leverage your style to ensure it's working for you and your clients. During this interactive presentation, CAROL VERNON, Principal of Communications Matters, will help you take a look at your preferred verbal and nonverbal communications; learn how you are perceived by others; and explore different ways to blend and flex your communications style for greater success. After identifying your communications style, you will respond to a series of questions to determine which communications type mixes well with yours, and understand what communications style clashes most with yours. You will walk away with tips on how to interact with other communications styles that will lead to professional success. CAROL VERNON is an executive leadership and communications coach and trainer. She brings more than 20 years of senior-level experience working with association, corporate and government clients, including Time Warner Cable, DuPont, the American Medical Association and the U.S. Army. She is a faculty member and coach at Yale's Campaign School for Women Leaders, where she provides leadership and communications coaching.
